This selection of the series displays a research on women in Ghana and their methods of survival in a society plagued by economic hardships, religious restrictions, and mysogyny. These often include sex work, and the struggle of minors to avoid entering prostitution. Heavily traumatised, the women still hope for change and a new start abroad.
