Change in perspective is the connecting theme of the 5 exhibitions presented by the FH Bielefeld, the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie, the University of Applied Sciences Hannover, the University of Fine Arts Hamburg and the University of Applied Sciences Europe at The Triennial of Photography Hamburg. By recombining their individual perspectives, they create a new visual understanding. How can we visually open up places where we first feel alien; is a single point of view sufficient to visualize a topic; how do photography students from three countries see Europe today; and how can Britain be photographed after the Brexit vote? The young photographers enable us to see reality through different eyes and through different approaches.
